The second bedroom may be a study
The template starts with two bedrooms, but one may be a guest room or workspace. Rename it and review the suggested items. Replace unsuitable pieces with your desk, chair or bookcase, using custom dimensions when needed. Initial quantities are a starting point.
Count shared furniture only once
Review the living room and kitchen separately from the bedrooms. A bookcase moving to the study should have only one entry, even if it changes room at the destination. Before finishing the list, also check the hallway and any area where you stored suitcases or boxes.
Identify boxes by room and contents
A label such as main bedroom, clothes distinguishes it from another with books for the study. Use the same approach when preparing the inventory. Review quantities as packing progresses: add the boxes you actually prepare with their measurements and quantities.
