Distinguish your furniture from what stays

If the flat is furnished, check which items are yours and which stay there. Do the same for kitchen appliances and bedroom wardrobes. The initial list contains editable quantities: having one bedroom does not determine how many beds, tables or boxes you need to move.

Review the bedroom and its boxes

Add clothes, shoes and bedding as boxes according to what you pack. Furniture should appear separately with reviewed quantities and measurements. You can rename an item to distinguish, for example, a chest of drawers from a small wardrobe and avoid confusing them when checking the inventory.

Prepare a box for arrival

Set aside the items you will need when entering your new home and add an easy-to-recognise label. Count that box in the inventory if it is part of the move. For the rest, use destination names such as bedroom or kitchen so you can check what remains to be prepared in each space.

Pricing needs more information than the bedroom

Once the list reflects your move, you can add the route and access at both points. Volume, floors, lifts and chosen services contribute to the indicative estimate. The result lets you review the calculation assumptions; the service price must be agreed with a company.
