Include items that belong to you
Check whether you are taking the bed, desk or wardrobe, especially when renting a furnished room. Remove items belonging to the home. Template quantities are editable starting points; you can keep only boxes if the furniture stays in the flat.
Your belongings may be outside the bedroom
Check utensils stored in the kitchen, bathroom products and personal items in shared areas. Add them to moving boxes or create a space to identify them. Agree with flatmates which shared items stay so the inventory does not include other people's belongings.
Arrange boxes by what you will need
Distinguish clothes and books from things you want at hand on arrival. Use recognisable labels and check quantities when you finish packing boxes. If you are taking a chair, coat rack or another item missing from the list, you can add it with its own name and measurements.
A small move also needs access details
For an indicative estimate, complete the route and pickup and delivery conditions after reviewing the volume. Specify floors, lifts and the help needed. Box count does not determine the whole service: the company must review the scope of the move and confirm the price with you.
